RM of Huron’s story
The Rural Municipality of Huron No. 223 was incorporated as a rural municipality on December 12, 1910. It lies in southern Saskatchewan, in Census Division No. 7 and SARM Division No. 2.
Within its boundaries are the village of Tugaske and the unincorporated community of Bridgeford. The Qu'Appelle River and Eyebrow Lake are among its waters.
Today the RM is run by an elected council and an appointed administrator, who meet on the first Wednesday of each month. The municipal office is in Tugaske.
